Project parameters: Create a PSA for a non-profit of your choice. It must be type driven.
For this piece, I wanted to start leaning into my interest in cinematography in motion graphics as well as working with compositing. I had so much fun getting to shoot and direct this project and I feel like it embodies the kind of work I love to do. I used type throughout my project by writing parts of my script on my model's skin. I then had them embody a sense of vulnerability and discomfort to set the scene. To tie everything together I played with color and sound. The sounds I used are multiple layers of eerie ambiance as well as my own voiceover. Furthermore, I was able to work hand in hand with PARTNERS NJ to make sure this voiced their message.
