This project was incredible to work on. I teamed up with my good friend Tucker Ziegler on a Network re-brand project. We looked closely at some options and decided that we wanted to work on Oxygen True Crime. We felt their current branding was being misused and lacked energy. Without overusing cliche visuals and avoiding straying too far away from our theme, we created a new design and motion language to aid in the immersive feel of true crime as a whole.

Oxygen Re-brand Sizzle
Together we got right to work doing research on the history of the network as well as checking out their previous rebrand packages including one by Trollback. With the information and ideas flowing in we created a process book to keep our ideas and goals on track.
The language we created was snappy, ridged, yet refined. We tried to focus on a glitch-centric tone and derive inspiration from reacted files, crime scenes, double exposure photography, and film photography. Limited by our resources, we had to focus on creating these effects primarily in after effects.
